Purpose

The purpose of the Creative Minds Public Policy Think Tank is to use out-of-the-box and practical solutions that address ongoing disparity in government and corporate procurement.

Given existing data available, there remains wide disparity when it comes to Black businesses receiving equitable receipts of business when public funds are spent. Creative Minds sole purpose is to locate the dots, connect the dots and foster working relationships across racial lines that address this single issue.

Disparity in public funded contracting harms the ability of anyone seeking to advance in this country, build their lives and benefit from the economic activity where they live. We have a solid track-record for successfully working with community groups, Black business interests, local officials and traditional economic development organizations to draft and initiate supportive public policies.
