1. Registration
Upon registration you'll receive your business network materials, which include, but are not limited to, Discount Card(s) and Window Sticker within 1 to 2 weeks. You can order your Card by mail, online via Paypay, or by phone at 785-232-4272.
2. Card Use
To use your Card in stores, you must show it before you make purchases. Businesses reserve the right to ask for identification to verify you are the rightful cardholder. A business has the right to deny a discount if you do not present your card before payment. The Ujamaa Card is nontransferable and may only be used by the person whose name is printed and/or signed on the card. The card cannot be redeemed for cash or applied as payment to any account unless required by law.
3. Expiration and Cancellation
Your Card expires on the last day of the month in the year on the front of the card. IBSA reserves the right to terminate your membership at any given time. You may terminate your membership at any given time.4. Searching for Discounts
Cardholders can search for discount locations of existing Business Partners online. Even though IBSA takes commercially reasonable efforts to keep the listing of businesses and discounts offered by them up-to-date, it is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete information regarding the participating business or its discount.
5. Business Disputes
If you have a dispute to report, IBSA will take commercially reasonable efforts to solve the dispute on your behalf. You may report disputes by calling 785-232-4272 or by e-mail at ibsa@myway.com. Reports must include the following information: business name, business address, date of purchase and discount denied. IBSA is not responsible for the quality of work or services provided by the participating businesses. We suggest that you check sources, like the Better Business Bureau, to verify the work and status of a business.
6. Changes to Offers or Businesses
IBSA is not responsible if a business changes its discount due to new ownership or acquisition. Offers made available through and/or businesses participating in the IBSA Business Network may change from time to time. Members and Cardholders should check our business directory from time to time for current offers and new businesses. IBSA is not obligated to provide a replacement or substitute offer for any offer discontinued from the membership program.
7. Lost or Misused Cards
Your Ujamaa Card will be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, but not if altered or used without your permission.The IBSA Discount Card is a product of IBSA, Inc., a 501 c.3 nonprofit organization established in 1993.
